Howdy. Yes, that old chestnut again, I'm afraid. It comes from too much interaction with these crazy americans. I have found myself reading in a variety of american accents when I am lounging with my book, when I am thinking to myself, when I am sneaking off with my little sister's DS, when I am blogging, for goodness sake. Yup, I am a-bloggin' in an american accent, so I hope y'all are joinin' in an' a-readin' in an american accent?
So, not been up to too much since I've arrived other than a-sleepin' in (sorry - I can't help it - it just comes out - I have no control), eating, daydreaming and shopping. Oh and of course playing my sister's DS. So far she has not let me loose on the brain age game. I think it's becasuse she's a-worryin' that I will get my brain age younger than hers - and she's significantly younger than me (I know what your saying - if she's significantly younger then why am I running off with her games. I assure you, I am not a bully - she gives me the games to play. I think it's perhaps to stop me from bothering whatever else she's doing). And in all honesty, she's probably right to worry - I'm definite I have got a much younger brain than my years. Actually, reading that back, that makes it sound like I'm childish. I am not. I am inordinately mature and grown up.
Anyway, I am writing this on a lap top which is irritating me slightly because it makes an annoying tapping noise and is adding "s"es everywhere. I have had to delete 43 spare "s"es from this blog alone.
(On top of which, I can smell that the mince pies are just about ready - and you surely can't eat hot mince pies and ice cream without some sort of cocktail in the other hand...)
