Bubble Bath, Shower Gel and Hippies

So what’s the big difference between shower gel and bubble bath? This morning I discovered that I had no available shower gel once I was already soaked. This meant I faced the decision between either:

  1. get out of shower, drip all over floor, scrabble about place trying to find evasive shower gel, possibly find none
  2. use bubble bath kept at end of bath for bathing occasions (few and far-between – languishing in the bath requires a certain amount of viewing your own body – most unpleasant – give me a shower over a bath any day of the week. Every day of the week in fact).

So I opted for option 2. Said bubble bath was a gift – and therefore although I am most grateful, it is not my usual choice of fragrance. It is patchouli and ylang ylang or sommat.

So, seemed to work fine – I’m all clean today and it created luscious bubbles in which I could encase my body like they do in the adverts. Only downside is, bubble bath scent seems to be more potent than shower gel scent and as a result, I have been wandering around today smelling like a hippie.
