So there I was, suspecting the plants... and little did I know that it was actually the washing that was plotting against me. Yes - that little thing I forgot to mention that had been lurking quietly in the corner of the yard. I got home to find it strewn across the place - on the floor, on the bins, hanging around the bikes, creeping towards the plants.
Just goes to show - it's true what they say about the quiet ones.
