Still Alive

I am still alive. The spider did not make a break for it and sink its fangs into my arm when it was let free. Partly, I suspect, because I didn't set it free. I forgot about it - even though it didn't forget about me - and followed me with its eyes on its journey past me towards the front door while someone else set it free (you didn't think when I said I didn't set it free I meant I'd squashed it, did you?).
